Regeneration of Mertola, Portugal
A new model is currently set in Mertola, Portugal for the rest of Europe to re-establish a natural ecosystem between humans and nature. The Mertola Regeneration Initiative addresses the desertification and depopulation of the beautiful south-eastern agricultural lands in Portugal.
Sioly is generating the financial mechanism that will allow for the acquisition, financing and construction of the “heart” of the initiative - an education, demonstration, and innovation hub.
Land-Sourced Art Residency in São Bartolomeu de Via Glória, Portugal
Combining design and farming: Sioly is working with the Association Via Criativa – Design for Local Development - to bring to life a fabLab creative residency that is focused on attracting creators that can work with the local products of regenerative and sustainable farming.
